But yesterday was day 2. It was my first time trying Cardio X. And it's really cool. It's a mix of plyometrics, core synergistics, yoga x, and kenpo x. It was fun, went by fast, but was still a tough workout. I missed working out. Not because I love how I feel after... 'cause to tell you the truth I'm hurting. But what a good feeling it is to finish a workout and know that you're making progress.

That's all I got. If you haven't tried it, you should.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.thevisualnoise.com/home/2010/3/1/guess-whos-back-p90x-day-1-again.html"><rss:title>Guess Who's Back? P90X Day 1 again.</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.thevisualnoise.com/home/2010/3/1/guess-whos-back-p90x-day-1-again.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

So where have I been? Well I found out that I had a HUGE kidney stone. So large that it was impossible to pass and too large to remove by normal means. I had surgery to have it removed and was out of commission for a few weeks. So now I'm back and have decided to start p90X Lean. It is a slightly different program that emphasizes on trimming down and not as much resistance training.

So day 1 was a little hard. After not working out for so long it takes a bit to get back into the swing of things. Core Synergistics was today. Lots of different stuff but it's nice because of the variety. And let me tell you one of the coolest things. So in the time I haven't been working out and, to be honest, not eating as well, I've still stayed around the same weight. I think part of it is because my metabolism has grown and also because my eating habits are a bit better than before. It's an encouraging effect of this great program.

So if you're reading this and you've been on the fence... do it! You won't regret it. As long as you want to make changes and have the drive, you will see amazing results. I have. Alright, until next time.

When you're sitting and watching TV and know you have to workout and you just feel like eating and laying there... just push play. Once again it happened today. I sleep in a bit, wake up tired, am hungry, watching TV, and know that Legs & Back are looming. I could just lay there but I put on my shorts, dry-fit shirt, socks and shoes, and then my brain clicks. It says, "You're dressed like that already you dummy. Just go workout!" I listened and I am glad. It's not that I love the way it feels to expose my body to that kind of pain, but it sure does feel good to know that I'm done and I don't have to think about (a) doing it later when I get back from church and dinner or (b) skipping it altogether and feeling bad about myself. Ah the relief. If you're in the same situation remember to: Just Push Play.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.thevisualnoise.com/home/2010/1/7/p90x-day-63-hardest-day-ever.html"><rss:title>P90X Day 63...
This week has been super tough. After a small hiatus my body is in shock as I get back in the groove of things. And after a long day at work and getting home around 10:15, I had a choice: Either I plop down and watch something on TV or play Call of Duty or I just get changed and work out and push through. Obviously I worked out, but man it was hard. Arms and Shoulders weren't too bad, but then AB Ripper X ripped me apart! My abs were already so sore and then during AB Ripper they were like, "Are you kidding me? You think this hurts, wait until tomorrow morning stupid!" Whatever. I just pushed play and got through it. To all those who started keep it up, you won't be sorry... sort of. Here's to a good night's rest.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.thevisualnoise.com/home/2010/1/6/p90x-day-62-ouch.html"><rss:title>P90X Day 62... ouch</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.thevisualnoise.com/home/2010/1/6/p90x-day-62-ouch.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>P90X</dc:subject>

Plyometrics. Rough day though. Getting back into it after a few weeks of consistent working out is painful. But some cool news... I upped all my reps by a lot on today's workout.
